It’s definite: Con Air and National Treasure are making their 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray debuts in November in the UK. More here.
Over the summer, a leak from an international disc retailer revealed that finally – finally! – Disney was digging into its archives for a raft of new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray releases. Names such as The Rock, Strange Days and Commando remain unannounced, but are expected in and around the Christmas period.
But here’s the confirmation of two eagerly-awaited titles: Con Air and National Treasure.
A double dose of the mighty Nicolas Cage here, and only in one of those films does he request a bunny goes back in a box. If you’ve not had the pleasure of either, you’ll – I’d suggest – have fun finding out.
Both are arriving on 16th November 2026 in the UK, and will be available in standard and Steelbook variants. Each also comes with a Blu-ray as well as a 4K disc in the box, and as such, will port over extra features from previous releases (which means you get next to none with Con Air, and certainly no sign of its slightly extended cut, but there’s a far more generous smattering with National Treasure.)
