Hundreds of people waited outside the pop-up store to get their hands on discounted clothing
Hundreds of customers lined up along Oxford Road in the hopes of bagging a bargain at BoohooMAN’s huge sample sale pop-up.
The fashion retailer opened a special pop-up event in Manchester on Tuesday (September 29), giving shoppers the chance to get their hands on a range of heavily discounted clothing.
It cost just £10 to fill a bag, with racks packed with clothing across the store for the occasion. Alongside picking up some new pieces for their wardrobes, shoppers could also grab free Gooey cookies, with the cookie company joining BoohooMAN for the event.

The sale ran from 12pm to 6pm, but hundreds of eager shoppers soon flocked to Oxford Road, with passers-by documenting the mammoth queues snaking down the street as people waited for their chance to get inside.
A sample sale is an event where fashion designers, brands or boutiques sell prototype items, showroom pieces, excess stock and other products directly to the public, usually at heavily discounted prices.
In this case, BoohooMAN offered shoppers the chance to fill a bag for just £10. The deal proved popular, with the retailer sharing clips on its social media showing some customers walking away with as many as eight bags in a single purchase.
Videos from inside the event showed shoppers rifling through the rails, with some areas of the shop floor quickly left with empty racks as customers snapped up clothing.
But while some shoppers were already inside hunting for bargains, huge numbers of people were still waiting outside to get through the doors.

One TikTok user, Aaron, documented his experience at the event after arriving at around 11am to begin queuing, an hour before the doors were due to open.
Panning the camera behind him, Aaron showed the queue stretching along Oxford Road and past All Saints Library before the sale had even opened for business.
As more shoppers arrived, the line continued to build, turning the BoohooMAN pop-up into a major sight on Oxford Road and leaving bargain hunters facing a lengthy wait before they could start filling their £10 bags.
The fashion giant has documented on their social media that customers who missed out on bagging themselves some deals will be able to access a sample sale on their website too.
