Popular indie band announces special ‘in the round’ Co-Op Live show with big support act

Tickets will go on sale this week

A popular indie act has announced details for a special one-off Manchester show which will see him take to the stage ‘in the round’ of Co-op Live.

Under the moniker of Tame Impala, Australian singer and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker first emerged onto the music scene with his debut album Innerspeaker back in 2010. He released his fifth album, Deadbeat, last October, and saw him nominated for International Group at the BRIT Awards 2026.

Behind hits including Loser, which is currently featured in Spiderman: Brand New Day, and Dracula, which has emerged as one of the biggest songs in the last year, the singer has been in high-demand at festivals across the world.

Following sold-out runs, the singer has announced a string of new European dates for 2027, which will include two nights at The O2 in London. The new dates will kick off with a show at Manchester’s Co-op Live on May 28 next year. Tickets will be available via sites including Ticketmaster and Gigs & Tours.

The shows will be held ‘in the round’ of each venue, giving fans an immersive and engaging experience that includes multi-coloured lasers and geometric light rings. It will follow a similar set-up for the singer’s previous show at the same Manchester venue back in May.

The newly-announced dates will also include two shows in both Rotterdam and Paris, as well as a night in Cologne. The act will also be playing festivals in Poland, Belgium, and Portugal next summer.

For each of the headline shows, Tame Impala will be supported by British band Wet Leg, who recently performed at Manchester’s Sounds of the City festival at Castlefield Bowl. The band, led by singer Rhian Teasdale, are known for singles including Chaise Longue and Catch These Fists.

Tickets for the new shows will first go on pre-sale this Wednesday (August 26) at 9am. The pre-sale will be open to Co-op Members, as well as Priority from O2. General sale will begin on Friday (August 28) at 9am via Ticketmaster and Gigs & Tours and See Tickets.
