This weekend is going to be a crowded one at the theatres, with multiple releases lined up. Taking advantage of the long weekend and Ganesh festival, three Telugu films and two dubbed movies are hitting the screens.
Sardar 2 vs Maremma vs Mandaadi
Tomorrow, September 10, Karthi’s Sardar 2, the sequel to the hit Sardar, is the biggest release among the films arriving this weekend. The spy thriller features Karthi in a dual role, with Malavika Mohanan and Ashika Ranganath as the female leads.
Competing with it is “Maremma,” a rural Telangana-based film that marks the debut of Madhav, nephew of Ravi Teja.
Suhas and Soori starrer “Mandaadi” is also releasing on the same day. Suhas plays a negative role in the film.
Epic vs Mahendragiri Varahi
Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s “Epic” has generated considerable buzz, mainly because the duo is a popular on-screen pair. The film is directed by Aditya Haasan, who gained popularity with the web series 90s. Epic is also holding premieres tomorrow.
Sumanth starrer “Mahendragiri Varahi” is testing its luck on September 11. The devotional thriller also features Siddhu in a key role.
