Andy Cohen has given this year’s most unexpected romance a thumbs-up.
The Bravo producer and Watch What Happens Live host weighed in on Phaedra Parks’ relationship with CT Tamburello in the September 8 episode of his SiriusXM Radio Andy program (via Instagram).
A caller wanted to know if Andy had seen CT and Phaedra on Fire Island.
“I didn’t. I texted her. You know, they got there right when I left. But Phaedra had mentioned that she was hanging out with CT to me a month or two ago. And I was like like, ‘Wow, I love this.’”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star sent the internet into a frenzy when she confirmed during an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live that she was dating The Real World and The Challenge alum. On Saturday, the pair made their first public appearance together at Creative Arts Emmys in Los Angeles.
“I was really happy,” Cohen continued. But he added that he “waned to be very discreet” and not “pry” into their relationship before they were ready to share.
“I was just like, ‘Well, I guess if this keeps going, I’ll here about it.’ And then we all heard about it,” he said.
“I know there were some people that were like, ‘Is this real? Is this real?’” he continued. “It seems very real to me.”
Phaedra and CT met when both were contestants on The Traitors Season 2, when many viewers noted their flirty vibe. On Saturday, she gushed about her new man in an Instagram post.
“Some came for the awards. I came with the prize,” she captioned a photo of herself and CT looking cozy on the red carpet at the Emmys. “Thank you to the real trophy for making a beautiful night even better.”
