Argos is running The Big Red Event which sees prices cut by up to 50% on a huge selection of furniture, home gadgets and tech. However, shoppers will want to act fast as prices are set to return to normal as the bank holiday ends on September 1.
For those looking to upgrade their living room ahead of cosy autumn nights in, the GFW Jakarta Nest of 3 Tables – Mango Wood Effect is a great option to go for. Usually priced at £140, the flexible nesting coffee tables are now down to £70.

“But due to it being delivered by the manufacturers it’s a hassle to return for a new one. So decided to keep it.”

Perfect in cottage-style or eclectic homes, it makes for a charming living room centrepiece. Shoppers can also find the matching Betty TV unit and sideboard on offer for £80 and £119 respectively.
Over at Dunelm, we’ve also spotted the Elements Ellis Gloss Coffee Table has been reduced from £229 down to £114.50 at half price. This saving is only apparent when viewing the “overview” section on the site.
The modern dining table has rounded sides and chunky legs with a glossy ivory coloured finish. It’s a great choice for those who have a minimalist interior style.
