India will begin its Asian Games campaign with Teqball on September 17, two days before the official opening ceremony in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The doubles pair of Declan Marshall Gonsalves and Mohamed Anas Imran Beg will lead India’s medal hopes in Teqball. Both Gonsalves and Beg are World Championship medallists, having won a bronze in the 2024 edition. They’re one of the biggest medal prospects for India in the continental tournament.
