Advent calendar season is well and truly upon us, with beauty brands launching their own editions so frequently it can be difficult to keep track. Skincare enthusiasts are in for a real treat, as Boots’ latest offering packs more than £300 worth of products into one seriously tempting calendar.
The Boots 24 Days of Skin Skincare Advent Calendar (£70) contains £303.56 worth of skincare and beauty goodies, meaning customers can save upwards of £230. Spread across 24 days, the calendar works out at £2.91 per product.
Inside are 24 products from some of the most renowned names in beauty, including Anua, Byoma, Mediheal and The INKEY List. With 21 full-size products, there’s plenty to get excited about.

Among the standout highlights is the Curel Moisture Repair Eye Cream, designed to moisturise and protect the delicate skin around the eyes. Also worthy of attention is Prai Beauty’s Ageless Throat and Décolletage Crème, formulated to nourish and hydrate the oft-neglected skin on the neck and décolletage, leaving it feeling smoother and more supple.
Elsewhere, The INKEY List’s Oat Cleansing Balm is an excellent choice for removing makeup and daily grime while keeping skin feeling comfortable rather than tight. And Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm delivers a touch of colour while conditioning dry lips – perfect for keeping pouts soft as the temperature drops, as reported by Mirror.

Aside from Boots, Liberty London’s Beauty Advent Calendar is another launch that has generated excitement amongst fans. The £285 calendar features 29 luxury beauty products with a combined worth of £1,300, making this year’s edition the highest-value calendar Liberty has ever produced.
Meanwhile, the waitlist for Sephora’s highly anticipated calendar, which has previously sold out four times, is now open. The beauty retailer has informed fans to expect 40 treats, of which 27 are full-size.
Elsewhere, OK! Beauty Box has teamed up with influencer and A-List make up artist Hannah Martin for the third consecutive year for their advent calendar. The calendar is worth over £605 and includes a Rodial eye cream worth £145, making it worth more than the price of the entire calendar. There are 22 full-size products out of the 25 days, including make-up, fragrance, skincare, haircare and nailcare heroes.
The Boots 24 Days of Skin Skincare Advent Calendar has already received some excellent early reviews. One delighted shopper shared: “The Boots 24 Days of Skin Skincare Advent Calendar is absolutely fantastic.
“It contains only skincare products, which is exactly what I was looking for. I think Boots has done a brilliant job by releasing three different advent calendars, including one dedicated entirely to skincare. Well done, Boots. This is exactly the kind of calendar I wanted.”

Another person commented: “I cannot believe this is £70. The number of full-size products is insane. I actually think this is better than the more expensive Boots advent this year. It’s full of all my favourite products plus some new ones I’ve never tried. Blown away with the amount of K-beauty products in here too.”
To date, there are no negative reviews of the calendar, though shoppers may notice a handful of similar products inside, including more than one cleanser, albeit from different brands. That said, any duplicates can easily be passed on as gifts to a loved one or set aside as a spare.
On a more positive note, one Boots enthusiast remarked: “I bought this last year; it is such good value. All the products are quality products and all good sizes.”
And Joanne added: “This advent calendar looks amazing but obviously haven’t tried anything as its only September.”
