Big Brother star Charlotte Notts has officially quit the show after admitting she has ‘had enough’.
The 18-year-old student from Oxford is the show’s first quadriplegic amputee contestant after she explained she lost her hands and feet to meningitis at the age of three.
She has had a tumultuous few weeks in the house after she found herself caught up in a disability row after controversial housemate Rochelle Rackham said she was ‘scared of people with no limbs’.
And on Sunday ITV confirmed Charlotte had quit the show with her final scenes aired during that evening’s episode.
Heading to the Diary Room, Charlotte told Big Brother: ‘I can’t take this anymore it’s so bad, everyone is starting to annoy me.
‘I’ve been pushed to my ultimate limit and that’s it now, I’ve had enough. I just need to go home now, I need to get out today.’
Gathering her housemates she then announced: ‘I’ve made the decision to leave.’

Over on Instagram ITV penned: ‘Charlotte has made the decision to leave the Big Brother House. We thank her for being a fantastic Housemate Tune in tonight to watch her departure.’

‘Just like, no arm. When I saw you, I was like, “Oh my god”, and I feel so ashamed because now I don’t even look at it 1790542695.’
Social media was soon flooded with reaction from viewers, with anger over her ‘disgusting and outrageous’ comments, having seen Charlotte discuss the exchange with fellow housemate Lynx Noumey, 24.
Taking to X, one viewer wrote: ‘That was disgusting what Rochelle said about Charlotte, just because she has a disability doesn’t mean she is different from anyone else!! She is really mean. Praise to Rihanna for what she said.’
Echoing the message, other viewers penned: ‘Exactly it just shows some people still don’t know about disabilities and when they need to keep quiet or ask in a respectful way… She did the same when they were discussing mental health…
‘She said why are we talking about it. But cried because she had no hoover to clean the floor. Pathetic… Rochelle needs to learn to zip it. Rhianna is unsure whether Rochelle’s honesty with Charlotte was appropriate. #BBUK

Following Rochelle’s confession, Charlotte relayed the conversation to fellow housemates, saying: ‘She was like ‘I’ve always had a fear of people with no limbs’. And she was like ‘when I saw you like, I was very, I was scared’.’

Lynx replied: ‘What the fk is that?’ before Charlotte continued: “She was like ‘when I came in I was quite scared’.” before Lynx said: ‘Oh Rochelle.”
Chelsey then said: ‘I think she needs to learn to shut her mouth, a bit.’
Keen to resolve the scenario, Rhianna then said: ‘Yeah. Now I think it’s just a bit much. I think it’s best if I say something’ and went on to confront Rochelle.
Some fans however jumped to her defence writing: ‘I don’t think Rochelle is a villain for this. It was clumsily worded and tbh it didn’t need to be said but I think in her own way, she was trying to explain that she was ashamed…
‘She’d had that fear and meeting Charlotte has been good as she just sees her like everyone else now… I don’t think Rochelle meant she’s actually scared of ppl with no limbs, I think she just worded it wrong.’
Content creator Scott Mousley shared a video discussing the exchange, as he branded her comments ‘outrageous’.
His followers echoed: ‘This is actually so upsetting and it makes me really sad that people are frothing with excitement because it’s ‘drama’. That is a human being that just had to absorb those comments…
‘Maybe it’s a good thing that collectively we can think about how not to do things and how not to treat people, but even with that there’s still an actual person at the centre of it who gets hurt.’
A disgusted Scott replied: ‘this is not ‘drama’ anyone should be excited about. I feel so sad for Charlotte tbh.’
