Brandi Glanville had a terrible experience on her new TV show, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
The former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star suffered several injuries while on the competition show which saw its fifth season debut on Thursday.
The 53-year-old saw her new breast implants dislodge and move from her chest to under her armpit when diving from a helicopter into a jungle river in Malaysia.
When she filmed the episode, she had only had the implants in place for three months as she needed to get a new set after having painful silicone poisoning from 20-year-old implants earlier this year.
The doctor gave her a thumb’s up to participate on the grueling show as he felt her breasts would be healed enough by the time cameras rolled.
‘They were only three months old, but the doctors cleared me and I told them what I might be doing because I’ve watched the show before,’ she told People. ‘He was like, “No, you’re good.”‘
The medical incident, which also included a cracked rib, perforated eardrum, concussion and bruised sternum, forced her to be the first contestant to exit the show.

Glanville suffered the injuries after she was asked to jump out of a helicopter and into a river while backwards and upside down.
When she landed in the river, she said she knew there would be problems.
As soon as Glanville’s head hit the water, ‘immediately, I was like, “Oh s***. I just hit my head so hard,”‘ she shared.
‘Then, all of a sudden, my body slammed into the water. When that happened, it was immediate pain. Horrible pain. I could only move one of my arms out of my whole body, and I was trying to swim and it was a nightmare.”’
The crew told her she had to go to the hospital which meant she was off the show but she did not fight it.
‘I was happy about it at that point because my head was literally spinning,’ added the ex-wife of actor Eddie Cibrian.
The journey from the crash site to a proper hospital was arduous.
She had to take three boats from the jungle river where they were filming to Kuala Lumpur where there were experts.
Glanville did not take a helicopter because she was not medically cleared to fly, she explained to the outlet.
After she got back home to Los Angeles she was bedridden for days due to her injuries. ‘It was just like that constant headache,’ added the mother of two who has sons Mason, 23, and Jake, 19, with ex-husband Cibrian.

When she landed in the river, she said she knew there would be problems
When asked if she regretted participating in Special Forces, she said no, but she admitted that she was hesitant to sign on in the first place.
‘My manager was like, “You can do it, I know you can. You’re tough, Brandi,”‘ she shared. ‘I’m like, “I will die. I’m not that tough.” I know I look tough, but I’m not.’
But she is proud that she ‘conquered my two biggest fears,’ she said. ‘I feel like I’m kind of a badass in my kids’ eyes, so I did it,’ she said.
She did the show because she needed the money to pay off her medical bills after dealing with a bizarre facial disfigurement.
‘I have all these bills and I was like, “Screw it, let’s do it,”‘ she said she told her manager.
On Special Forces, Glanville explained that she’s ‘been very sick’ for the past three years.
‘I had 20-year-old breast implants and it turns out I had silicone poisoning,’ she said. ‘I’m lucky to be here, and if I can get through those three years, I can get through anything.

‘I’ve been really isolated during all of this just to try to figure out what’s wrong and heal, but I just want to go to dinners with my friends. We have another project that I’m doing right now, and it’s kind of covering everything that’s going on. It’s exciting, but it’s also very emotionally draining. I’m just happy to be busy and working.’
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test airs on Thursdays at 9 pm ET/PT on FOX.
This comes after Glanville said earlier this month that she feels ’embarrassed’ after her friend launched a GoFundMe page to help cover the star’s mounting medical bills for her ongoing health battle.
The star, who has been battling a mystery health condition for more than two years, with the illness recently causing facial disfigurement, is facing $7,000 a week in medical bills, despite having insurance.
Although she was reluctant to accept Gina Rodriguez’s help, her friend told her that she had ‘no choice’ but to set up a fundraiser to help pay for the ongoing treatment.
On the latest episode of her and James Maas’ Unfiltered podcast, she said: ‘I’m on all of this crazy medication, [and] even with my insurance, it’s $7,000 a week. Then, I have creditors calling me all day.
‘[My friend], Gina, started a GoFundMe for me. I’m embarrassed, honestly, ‘cause I don’t like to ask for help, and I never thought I would do this. And she’s like, “You have no choice.”

‘If I stop paying, I won’t get my medication, and then I won’t make any progress. Right now, I paid half, and I still owe them. I’m just, like, I’m spent. I don’t want anyone to see it, but I don’t know what to do.’
The GoFundMe page has not yet met its $28,000 target.
She noted that she ‘can’t work’ because of her ongoing health woes.
Crying, the TV personality said: ‘I just feel like a loser because I feel like I definitely hit rock bottom, and I’m embarrassed. I just never thought I would do this. … Gina did it for me. I know, like, she’s looking out for me.’
Taking to Instagram she revealed that she has been diagnosed with ‘highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and Mononucleosis.’
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), ESBL Klebsiella is a kind of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

The Mayo Clinic has stated that Valley fever is a fungal infection, while Cleveland Clinic describes Demodex as ‘a type of mite that lives in human hair follicles, usually on your face.’
In a video shared on Instagram the star said she had a large, ‘hard as a rock’ fungal ball in her face that needs to be removed, along with ‘metals from old dental work out of my mouth.’
She added: ‘My breast implants need to come out, and I’m looking at 4–6 months of daily IV treatment.’
The treatments have ‘not been easy,’ and they have cost Brandi between $3,300 and $6,000 a month after health insurance.
In June, she revealed a tumor had been discovered in her face. Speaking on an episode of the Unfiltered podcast, Glanville said: ‘I found out I have a benign tumor in one of my lymph nodes in my face. That could be why the fluid is going around my face and why I’m having a hard time… I can wear make-up for, like, 15 minutes and then I have to take it off.’
She has previously wondered if what she had thought was a facial parasite was due to her breast implants rupturing and spreading infection through her body, while doctors have claimed it’s ‘just scar tissue.’
