Cardi B fueled online chatter once again after her partnership with Huda Beauty on a campaign and product launch.
In late August, Huda Beauty announced a collaboration with Cardi B for the “Ultra Snatched” collection, an expansion of its popular “Easy Bake” franchise. The playful “Snatched Baddies” campaign saw Cardi B and founder Huda Kattan swap lives in a Freaky-Friday-inspired concept packed with humor and glam.
When the collection officially launched on September 10, Cardi B surprised guests by showing up at the celebration. Her outfit stood out from her recent looks, and fans appeared to love it.
Cardi B arrived wearing Loewe’s wool-blend fringed purple dress paired with Saint Laurent Ivresse sandals. The high-neck design hugged her famous curves from bust to hips and finished with a thick, shaggy fringe hem.
She completed the look with a chic French twist featuring face-framing strands, soft glam makeup, a diamond ring, and small earrings, keeping the styling simple and elegant.
She Looks ‘More Classy’
Everything about Cardi B’s outfit at the Huda Beauty “Ultra Snatched” launch party looked different from her signature styling.
Instead of the plunging necklines, dramatic cutouts, skin-baring silhouettes, and even long nails she’s known for, this outfit leaned toward understated sophistication. This prompted a fan to praise the look as a “more classy” upgrade.
“No a– out lol,” the commenter joked, then clarified there was nothing wrong with Cardi B showing off her curves. “She looks more classy here,” they added.
Don Toliver’s Tour Called For A Very Different Look
Just days earlier, Cardi B delivered the complete opposite aesthetic during her surprise appearance on Don Toliver’s tour. She stepped onto the stage wrapped in an oversized white fur coat, which she opened up to reveal a matching white catsuit underneath.
From the front, the outfit appeared relatively simple, with a plunging neckline that showcased ample cleavage. The back, however, featured revealing cutouts stretching from her upper back to just above her knees, connected by lace-up detailing.
The daring design generated just as much conversation as her surprise performance.
Cardi B Has Been Rocking The Backless Design
Don Toliver’s tour wasn’t the first time Cardi B rocked the dramatic back-baring design. Earlier in August, she hosted a private party in New York wearing turquoise pants featuring similar lace-up back cutouts, coordinating with a plunging white top.
Back in June, she wore another variation of the style, pairing a barely-there pink top with denim bottoms that exposed much of her voluptuous backside through the same lace-up construction.
The repeated styling has led some fans to believe Cardi may be helping design the pieces herself. When she posted the June outfit, she captioned the post, “Pants design by Belcalis,” using her first name and hinting at creative involvement.
Whether she also contributed to the later versions remains unclear.
Cardi B Enjoys Time In The Dominican Republic
More recently, Cardi B has been spending time connecting with her Dominican roots. The rapper recently traveled to the Dominican Republic, where she’s been sharing glimpses of the trip through Instagram Stories.
