Tollywood actor Chiranjeevi’s daughter and producer Sushmita Konidela has been appointed as a special invitee to the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam in Vijayawada.
Endowments Department Secretary Kannababu issued orders confirming her appointment.
As a special invitee, Sushmita is expected to contribute to various activities related to the temple’s development and administration.
She will also offer suggestions and support initiatives aimed at improving facilities for devotees and strengthening development works at the temple.
Interestingly, this comes soon after Chiranjeevi’s wife, Konidela Surekha, was appointed as a member of the governing body of the Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Telangana. She recently assumed her responsibilities there.
The latest appointment means another member of the Konidela family has now been given a key temple-related responsibility.
Ahead of Dasara, the Andhra Pradesh government has entrusted Sushmita with this role at the Vijayawada Durga temple.
The Konidela family has also been receiving important responsibilities in Andhra Pradesh.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is serving as Deputy Chief Minister, while Konidela Nagababu was recently appointed Chairman of the AP Green Executive Committee with Cabinet rank.
Sushmita Konidela has also made a name for herself in Tollywood as a producer. She produces films and web series under the Gold Box Entertainments banner.
She recently produced Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu starring her father Chiranjeevi, which emerged successful during the Sankranti season.
