A Christmas Carol
Charles Dickens’ most famous work is coming to the stage at the Albany Theatre this Christmas. From December 5 to December 24 you can catch this atmospheric re-telling of the well-known tale packaged as a magical festive treat.
Matinee and evening performances take place throughout the run and tickets cost from £18 with concessions, family tickets and group booking options available. More info and tickets here.
St Mary’s Guildhall
Santa Claus may be taking a well deserved rest at the moment but the good people at St Mary’s Guildhall have already got him booked in for grotto events. There are storytelling with Santa sessions from the end of November right through December.
If you’re looking for more grown-up entertainment there’s a festive party night, festive afternoon tea, candlelight mulled wine tours, a Gatsby night, Victorian Christmas Day, Tudor Christmas Day and Festive Murder Mystery.

Carols at the Castle
To get in the festive spirit and help raise money for good causes, go along to the Kenilworth Lions’ Carol Concert. Carols at the Castle has become a traditional way to start the Christmas festivities and it takes place this year on Saturday, December 19.
Visitors can soak up the atmosphere in the historic Kenilworth Castle grounds. Entry costs £5 for adults and is free for children.

Beauty and the Beast
This beloved panto is coming to the Belgrade this Christmas. Written by and starring Iain Lauchlan, Coventry’s favourite dame, the show will feature breathtaking sets, crazy costumes and seasonal silliness that make a panto such an unmissable family treat.
It runs from Wednesday, November 18 to Saturday, January 2.

Christmas by Candlelight
Sing along with our favourite Christmas hits in the atmospheric surroundings of Coventry Cathedral. Christmas by Candlelight is billed as the ultimate Christmas concern with a spectacular cast of West End Singers.
It takes place from 7.30pm on Friday, December 11. Tickets cost from £35 plus a £4.50 booking fee and are available here.
