For Disney fans, a trip to Disney On Ice has become a much-loved winter tradition, giving families a magical day out to look forward to during the school holidays. Now, the spectacular show is returning to the UK for February half term, with beloved Disney characters, show-stopping skating and plenty of magic for fans of all ages.
Set to explode into 2027, Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures skates back into the UK from February 24. The spectacular will bring some of Disney and Pixar’s most-loved characters to the ice, combining world-class skating, high-flying acrobatics and interactive moments for audiences of all ages.
The production will travel across the UK, stopping in Cardiff, Liverpool, Leeds, London and Glasgow between February 24 and March 28, 2027. London fans will be able to catch the show at OVO Arena Wembley from March 18 to 21, with tickets already on sale via Disney On Ice.
And there’s an impressive line-up of characters just waiting to meet you. The interactive show sees Mickey, Minnie and their friends embark on a journey filled with unexpected twists, surprises and plenty of opportunities for audience participation.
Families will be transported to the rooftops of London with Mary Poppins and Jack and his dancing lamplighters, before travelling to the sun-soaked island of Motunui with Moana as she attempts to restore the heart of Te Fiti. Elsewhere, guests can venture into the Pride Lands with Simba and Timon, where they will encounter wild cheetahs and monkeys, before heading into a spectacular princely parade with Aladdin and Genie.
The show will also feature Woody and Bo Peep from Toy Story 4 as they go on an adventure to find their friend Forky. Of course, no show would be complete without a Disney Princess or two, so it’s a good job Merida, Belle, Ariel, Mulan and Tiana will also be making appearances on the ice.
For families who want to make their Disney experience even more magical, the VIP Magical Pass could be just the ticket. The package includes premium reserved seating with enhanced views of the performance and early access to a special pre-show character greeting one hour before the show begins.
Fans will also recieve a commemorative collectable lanyard as a little treat to take home with them. Prices will vary according to venue and date.
A vertiable feast for fans, behind the production is a supporting cast of choreographers and set and costume designers who create 103 props and 275 different costumes. For those seeking something a touch different, another spectacular Disney event is also heading to UK arenas this year.
The Disney Worlds Collide Concert Tour is set to take over some of the UK’s biggest venues in February, bringing the music and magic of three much-loved Disney franchises to life on stage. Fans can sing along to chart-topping hits from Descendants, ZOMBIES and Camp Rock, with original cast members performing the songs live — and tickets are available now.
Elsewhere, Disney’s The Muppet Christmas Carol in Concert Live to Film is heading on a 15-date UK tour featuring a screening of the beloved classic while its musical score is performed live by an orchestra. Tickets are available here to celebrate the festive season with Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit, Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge and Gonzo narrating as Charles Dickens.
One family said: “What a great show. Characters were fantastic. The choreography was phenomenal. The show was breath taking. Well done to all.”
Another added: “The whole exprience was amazing !! The show was fantastic The venue was perfect and the vendors were on point.”
One mum knocked off a star from her review, saying: “My five year old absolutely loved it and sang along to the songs, swaying her arms back and forth. My only complaint is the food and toys are TOO expensive.”
Another more enthusiastic audience member added: “Was a magical show for the family hosted by Leeds arena. We got VIP tickets which for the suite, ice cream for the kids and VIP entrance was very well priced. The dancers were absolutely fantastic and the display and talent they put into their performance was absolutely spectacular.”
