Here I Am comes with some intriguing insights into Dolly’s life from Kylie, Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and others, exploring the life of a singer who rose from a dirt-poor background to become one of the biggest country stars in the world.
Music is really only part of Dolly’s legacy, though, and this came out in 2019 – before the philanthropist and theme park owner helped fund one of the Covid vaccines. Still, Here I Am is a great look back and benefits hugely from hearing so much from the great woman herself.
