There’s been a security shakeup at the late Dolly Parton‘s properties.
The country superstar’s head of security, her nephew Bryan Seaver, and his companies have reportedly been fired from his longtime position, according to TMZ.
Bryan was sent a termination notice on Wednesday, September 16), informing that him and his companies were dismissed immediately from all of Dolly‘s properties
The later singer’s main Nashville home, her museum, downtown residence, and warehouse were all taken over by a new security team.
Bryan and his team have called out his aunt’s longtime manager, Danny Nozell, and Pinnacle Bank for the change, telling TMZ that they are “dismayed by the unexpected and, so far, unexplained actions” since her death nearly a month ago.
“We remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family, and we refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much,” they added.
Per the termination notice, Dolly‘s properties and business interests are controlled by the DP Dean Trust, named after her and her late husband, Carl Dean.
While Bryan has been fired from his professional duties, his personal interest as a beneficiary of her trust still remains.
If you recall, Bryan was the family member who announced Dolly‘s death in late August, as he was personally selected to deliver the sad news by Dolly herself.
