Edie Falco has booked her next TV role!
On Thursday (September 17), Variety announced that the 63-year-old 4-time Emmy-winning actress will be leading Fox‘s new legal drama series Katie Greaves.
Along with starring in the series, The Sopranos and Nurse Jackie actress will also be serving as an executive producer.
What is Katie Greaves about?
Edie will be playing the titular role of Greaves, who is described as “a whip-smart, fiercely committed attorney who stepped away from the New Hampshire Public Defender’s office following a devastating personal tragedy. Now raising her two young granddaughters with her husband and trying to piece together a life she never expected, Katie is drawn back to the work that once defined her. Each case tests Katie’s instincts, wit, and deeply held belief that everyone deserves a second chance…and someone to fight for them.”
When will the series premiere?
Fox has ordered Katie Greaves to series and it is scheduled to premiere during the 2027-2028 broadcast season.
