It’s not a good day for Facebook aka Meta, and Mark Zuckerberg.
The company has settled for $17 billion the case brought against them claiming Facebook was causing a social media addiction among kids.
Clever Sony Pictures now drops a new trailer for Aaron Sorkin’s “The Social Reckoning” that is devastating for Zuckerberg, who is depicted as the Devil.
The trailer makes the movie — starring Jeremy White and Jeremy Strong, and Oscar winner Mikey Madison — seem like “Spotlight.” If the film is as good as the trailer, Sony will have a winner.
Strong — in the trailer — looks he’s going to tell White, “You can’t handle the truth” a la Sorkin’s “A Few Good Men.” And you know what? He’d be right.
“The Social Reckoning” is the non-sequel to “The Social Network,” which Sorkin wrote. Now he’s directing and writing. The first movie’s director, David Fincher, has directed the non-sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, called “The Mid-adventures of Cliff Booth.” Stay focused!
