Prabhas’ much-awaited film “Fauji” is no longer releasing on December 3, 2026. Producer Mythri Ravi Shankar has now officially confirmed that the film has been postponed.
For the past few days, reports have been circulating that “Fauji” has been pushed to 2027. However, the makers had not made any official announcement regarding the change in release date.
The development became clearer after Naga Chaitanya’s “Vrushakarma” and Dulquer Salmaan’s “Sri Sri” announced December 4, 2026 as their release dates. With “Fauji” originally scheduled for December 3, the new announcements indicated that Prabhas’ film had moved out of the year-end release slot.
Ravi Shankar has now confirmed the postponement. Speaking at the pre-release event of Nani’s “The Paradise” today, the producer said that “Fauji” will arrive a little later and promised that the film will showcase Prabhas on a different level.
The producer said: “The release of Fauji is being delayed a little. It is going to be a film on a different level. You have not seen Prabhas like this after Baahubali. We are pushing the release back a little, but we are going to give fans a film that they will remember for a lifetime.”
While the producer did not announce a new release date, his comments confirm that “Fauji” will not arrive on December 3. The film is expected to release in 2027.
Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, “Fauji” stars Prabhas in the lead role. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar on Mythri Movie Makers banner.
