Ginger Spice’s daughter has taken to the stage, just like her former Spice Girls’ mum, performing a secret gig to raise money for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home
Geri Halliwell-Horner‘s daughter is a singer, just like her Spice Girls’ mum. Bluebell Madonna, 20, followed in her mum’s footsteps and hopped onstage at Piano Smithfield in London, to raise money for charity.
Bluebell, an English Literature student at university, performed on stage alongside her friends at the intimate live music venue, as part of a charity gig for Battersea Cats and Dogs Home. But, while she loves singing, sources have said that Bluebell has no desire to become a professional musician like her mum.
“Just like her mum, Bluebell has a keen ear for music and has really enjoyed getting on stage,” the source said. “Rather than wanting to be a star in her own right, Bluebell teamed up with some of her pals to put on a charity gig and she did a warm-up show at their student bar ahead of that.”

The source added to the Sun that the concert “went down really well” but that the 20-year-old has “no plans to become a singer” and is “more focused on marketing”.
Baby Spice Geri, 54, shares Bluebell withe Sacha Gervasi, a screenwriter she had a relationship with in 2005. The Spice Girl went on to marry Formula 1 team principal Christian Horner in 2015, and they have a son together, called Monty.
Sacha, whose films include The Terminal and Hitchcock, married banking heiress Jessica de Rothschild in 2010, and Bluebell did not appear to be at the wedding. Since her mum got married, Bluebell has been adopted by Christian Horner.
Geri opened up about her daughter on an episode of Jessie Ware’s podcast, Table Manners. She spoke about Bluebell going off to study English Literature and said: “That’s mother’s pride though isn’t it, you must be very proud of your daughter for what she’s achieved. It’s amazing to watch them thrive and find their own lane.”
Geri shot to fame in 1996 when her girl group Spice Girls released their debut album. That album celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and fans were hoping for a reunion, especially after the band teased that something was coming up for the milestone.
A video shared across the band’s official channels opened with the iconic staircase at the St Pancras Hotel in London, where the group shot the music video for their debut single, Wannabe. The camera then focused on a newspaper advert asking: “R u a Spice Girls fan with the ability to sing and dance?”
Fans thought this might have been hinting at a reunion, but it was instead about the release of special vinyls and CD box sets. A brand new set comprised of 14 individually coloured 7″ vinyl records of original singles and their B-sides, as well as original artwork, will soon be available to buy.
