Good Morning Britain presenters Susanna Reid and Ed Balls were on hand to deliver the latest news to ITV viewers on Wednesday morning

Susanna Reid admitted her head “was spinning” during the latest Good Morning Britain live show.
The 55-year-old presenter was slightly caught off guard during Wednesday’s (September 30) edition after the programme returned from Kate Garraway sharing headlines from the news bulletin.
The ITV star appeared to have had some food as she explained the reason she was eating during the show. She told viewers: “Excuse me, I’ve just had a little bit of breakfast. I don’t normally have my breakfast at this time of the morning, but it was quite a long day yesterday. I came into the studio, and my head was spinning.
“When I’m a little tired, I get vertigo. So, if I suddenly keel over and collapse on top of you (Ed Balls), please don’t be offended.” Ed joked that he’d catch Susanna if that was the case, as she laughed before thanking him.
Ed then asked whether or not it was he who was making her head spin, or Prime Minister Andy Burnham, whom Susanna spoke to during Tuesday’s annual Labour conference. She replied: “It’s neither of you individuals, as much as you’d like to take responsibility.”
The programme then touched on Susanna’s interview with the Prime Minister, as she spoke to him following his conference speech, which saw him pay an emotional tribute to his late father.
Good Morning Britain played Susanna’s discussion with Andy Burnham on the programme as she asked what his father would’ve thought of the speech.
He replied: “Susanna, that’s a question and a half. I think he would say that everything came together there. I said that to my mum, and life came full circle. It all comes from my mum and my dad and the way they brought us up.
“He had a quiet patriotism that I describe as being the kind of Britain that my dad represented, as the one I want to fight for as Prime Minister, and I will fight for it as Prime Minister. It was emotional, and it was hard, but I hope I did him proud.”
It wasn’t long before people commented on the interview, with many praising Susanna and her questions to the Prime Minister. One person on X said: “Susanna absolutely brilliant interview @susannareid100”
Another added: “Great interview Susanna, I thought Andy’s speech yesterday was emotional, honest and eye opening.” While a third shared: “Susanna, looking forward to watching your interview with the prime minister in the morning.”
