A new Greggs has opened its doors in Leicester, boosting local jobs in the area.
The new store started welcoming customers at 8 Lutterworth Road, in Aylestone, on Thursday, September 24.
With a modern new look, the shop is stocking its freshly prepared favourites including sausage rolls, steak bakes, its vegan roll and the new steak and stilton bake.
The Aylestone store, which has brought 14 jobs to the area, has indoor seating. Its manager, Jodie Greggory, said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop.
“We’ve got an amazing range of iconic savouries, Fairtrade hot drinks, hot food and healthier choices available for takeaway, sit-in or click and collect.”
Retail operations director for Greggs, Gillian Long, added: “Our new shop in Leicester has brought 14 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites.”
The store is open Monday to Saturday from 6.30am to 7pm. It is open from 7.30am to 5pm on Sunday.
