Hannah Everingham ‘Big Surprise’ Tour Supports Announced

Attentive ears will already be aware of the excellence of Hannah Everingham‘s new album Big Surprise, expressing a personal songwriting language somewhere between avant-folk and post-punk, “bound together by warm tones and Balearic-adjacent, undulating mutant-funk grooves” as we said on release. Laid down live with bandmates Thomas Isbister and Michael Kime, the Ōtautahi artist’s Big Surprise tour starts this week and she’s now announced special guests for each and every stop.

Playing in various configurations (solo, full band and duo) for the four-stop adventure, Everingham will be joined this Saturday at Ōtepoti’s Pearl Diver by Neive Strang, Reuben Derrick’s solo project Poltroon at The Loons in О̄hinetahi, Motte at Whammy Bar in Tāmaki Makaurau, and live bandmate Goodwill at Meow in Te Whanganui-a-Tara.
