One shopper, however, wasn’t a fan of the Dobby the Free Elf kit, giving it a one-star review. They wrote: “I have the previous Dobby Lego set and after this release, I feel like Lego’s design is lazy.

“When you compare Dobby’s set to those of Gizmo, Wickett, the Sorting Hat, Grogu, Tweety, Bugs Bunny, R2D2, the Cornish Pixy, Groot, and others… Dobby’s set just feels lazy. Where are the sets where he’s got a bludger?

“Or he’s hanging from a chandelier? And why is every design of him so small? He’s the same size as the Cornish Pixy with not even half of the detail Lego put into the other sets I mentioned.”

Nevertheless, someone else loved their latest Lego purchase, adding: “Building this set was a fun and relaxing experience from start to finish. I especially enjoyed watching the build evolve as more details were added. The finished model looks fantastic, buying another one to build Kreacher.”

Another five-star review reads: “This Lego set is so cool. I love Harry Potter theme and this Dobby set will add a perfect touch to my bookshelf.

“It was easy to assemble and construction looks quite durable. It is not very big, so it will not be difficult to find a nice spot in your house. It is a nice way to spend your evening.”
