London’s West End summer sale is now live, with ATG Tickets slashing prices on Moulin Rouge! and other major theatre tickets by up to 15% – but only until September 2, 2026
London’s West End stands as one of the most enchanting and thrilling destinations during the summer. And it’s just become slightly more affordable.
Major ticket retailer ATG Tickets has announced a rare summer sale, reducing prices on performances across the capital by up to 15 per cent. This offer encompasses several prominent productions, including the critically acclaimed Moulin Rouge!
The ten-times Tony Award-winning production is currently playing at London’s Piccadilly Theatre and boasts a spectacular soundtrack featuring Christina Aguilera, Lady Marmalade, David Bowie, Pink and Fatboy Slim among its setlist. And tickets can now be obtained for less than ever before.
Moulin Rouge! tickets can be purchased with an unusual 15 per cent reduction on non-package tickets priced at £40 or above. This means tickets can cost as little as £34 each, as reported by Express. Additional terms and conditions apply, which can be viewed here. However, fans hoping to secure a discount should move quickly.
The ATG Tickets West End Summer promotion launched on June 25 and runs only until Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Following this, tickets will return to standard pricing. And Moulin Rouge! isn’t the sole production included in the sale, either.

Either way, Moulin Rouge! is a show that fans simply won’t want to miss. The Daily Express reviewed an earlier production of the show several years back, with critic Neil Norman describing it as ‘outstanding’.
The review continued: “The leads perform beautifully … The well-drilled dancers divert attention from the loose plotting and some of the duller musical additions with spectacular sequences.” The critic further noted: “Plenty of fizz for your francs here.”
Further reviews on Tripadvisor reflected similar views. Paul wrote: “I have wanted to see this for a long time, well worth the wait! The Piccadilly theatre is transformed into the Moulin Rouge club, with vibrant colourful lighting before the show starts!
“The sound and colour of this brilliant musical with the interaction of the audience from the performers was superb. Dancing and singing to die for, that takes you away for two and a half hours of sheer fantasy. Maybe went over the heads of some people, The couple next to me did not applaud once or stir during the rousing finale and standing ovation. each to their own! Would love to see this again. Cannot recommend it highly enough.”
Tara was equally enthusiastic: “Seen the show on a girly day out with friends, although it would equally be a good watch as a couple. The show itself was amazing, a lot of effort had gone into the costumes, backdrops, dancing and especially the voice of the lady who played Satine was out of this world. We left feeling like we could watch it all over again straight away! I am not a theatre expert, however I have watched my fair share of West End Shows, and Moulin Rouge did not disappoint, well worth the time and money.”
Mariana did offer one observation, commenting: “Overall good, great cast and I love the atmosphere but please do not allow latecomers to the show as it’s very distracting.”
Meanwhile, Tofurry suggested it surpassed the American production. “We have watched this before when it came to Seattle. This time, it was 100x better because we were able to get the can-can seats cheaper than getting decent tickets in NYC or even Seattle.”
Having said that, the Moulin Rouge! production has been a fixture at The Piccadilly Theatre for years. Tickets are currently available for purchase from ATG Tickets through to September 1, 2026.
