The first single, “Srilatha”, from “Idupu Kayitham” is out now. The song is presented as a romantic melody with a strong Telangana flavour, and brings together lead pair Priyadarshi and Naga Durga.
Produced by Bunny Vas under Sukumar Writings and Bunny Vas Works, “Idupu Kayitham” is directed by debutant filmmaker Vamsi Reddy Dondapati. The film is set against the backdrop of a Telangana family and is being positioned as an entertaining drama.
“Srilatha” is composed by Suresh Bobbili, with lyrics by Alaraju. Shankar Babu, Mohana Bhogaraju, Seelam Punnamma and Bollepogula Subhadra have lent their voices to the song. The melody carries a distinctly Telangana-rooted flavour, while the lyrical video features Priyadarshi and Naga Durga in a romantic setting.
The song was filmed around Hyderabad, with visuals featuring the Secretariat and Tank Bund. The film is currently progressing with its regular shoot.
The makers are planning to release “Idupu Kayitham” in theatres in the first week of December.
