Is the ‘Missing 45 Acres’ Part of KCR’s Farmhouse?

Telangana revenue authorities, who conducted a detailed survey of land in and around Erravelli village in Siddipet district, have reportedly found that around 45 acres of land recorded in official revenue documents are now unaccounted for.

Officials are said to be examining whether the missing land has become part of the farmhouse belonging to Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his family, which is located adjacent to the same survey number in the village.

During a review meeting chaired by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday night, officials informed him that government records show a total of 388 acres under Survey No. 325 in Erravelli village.

However, the latest survey carried out by the revenue authorities reportedly identified only 343 acres, leaving a discrepancy of 45 acres.

Officials also told the Chief Minister that KCR’s farmhouse and properties belonging to his family members are located adjacent to Survey No. 325, where the discrepancy was found.

Revanth Reddy directed officials to issue a notification to identify the unaccounted-for 45 acres within the limits of Erravelli and the neighbouring Venkatapuram village in Markook mandal.

He also instructed the authorities to issue notices to the landholders concerned, including KCR and members of his family, and obtain their land records as part of the inquiry.

The inquiry committee was constituted on the directions of the Chief Minister following his statement in the State Assembly on September 16.

Revenue officials subsequently carried out a comprehensive survey of Survey No. 325 in Erravelli village.

Revanth Reddy also instructed officials to take steps to distribute any government land identified under Survey No. 325 to eligible local farmers.
