Janhvi Kapoor has been maintaining a relatively low profile in recent months. Following the release of “Peddi”, the actress has largely stayed away from the spotlight and promotional activities in Hyderabad.
There were reports that Janhvi was unhappy with the way her character was presented in “Peddi”, particularly regarding its glamorous portrayal. She subsequently kept her promotional appearances for the film limited.
Even on the Bollywood front, Janhvi does not appear to be signing projects at a rapid pace. She is reportedly taking time to assess the next phase of her career and is looking beyond conventional glamorous and commercial roles.
The actress is said to be interested in taking up more performance-oriented parts that offer her stronger characters.
There have also been reports that she has signed Allu Arjun’s “Raaka”, but there has been no official confirmation regarding her involvement in the project so far.
For now, Janhvi appears to be taking a more measured approach to her career choices.
