Donald Trump has egg all over his face this morning.
In the middle of the night, he was ordered by the courts to let CNN, MS Now, and Politico back into the White House press room and pool.
Judge Timothy J. Kelly of the U.S. District Court in Washington granted a 14-day restraining order and told the White House to “immediately return, reinstate, and restore” the press credentials held by employees of the three outlets.
The judge is a Trump appointee, duly noted.
Trump thought he was being a wise guy arbitrarily locking out media he doesn’t like. He stupidly scolded CNN’s Kaitlin Collins yesterday when she turned up at the United Nations, forgetting or not knowing that the UN had invited her.
Another miserable vendetta out the window. And this time, while the UN is in town, so he can really be embarrassed on an international level.
Meantime, Trump says he doesn’t want his name on Ford’s Theater in Washington. “The Dumocrats make up lie after lie. The new one is that I want Ford’s Theater named after me. That’s where Abraham Lincoln was assassinated. Who would want that? I don’t! It is FAKE NEWS started by MSDNC AND CNN.”
