Kareena Kapoor Khan is reportedly set to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan in King after nearly 15 years. According to Pinkvilla, the actress will make a special appearance in the action thriller for a song titled Daddy Cool, which is expected to be mounted on a lavish scale in South Africa later this month.
Kareena has reportedly allotted five days for the South Africa schedule.
Composed by Sachin-Jigar, Daddy Cool is said to feature an Indian artiste alongside an international performer, although their identities remain undisclosed. The track will reportedly showcase Shah Rukh in a new avatar and is being planned as a major musical attraction.
The reported reunion carries considerable nostalgia, with Shah Rukh and Kareena previously appearing together in Asoka, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Ra.One. Kareena is reportedly limited to the special appearance rather than a full fledged role. The makers are also expected to unveil another King asset around Shah Rukh’s November 2 birthday.
