Katie Price says she was happy with her look at the 2026 National Television Awards, marking her first public appearance since her split from husband Lee Andrews was revealed

Katie Price has shared why she opted for a striking make-up appearance at the National Television Awards earlier this week. The 48-year-old attended the annual ceremony with her sister, Sophie, and was also reunited with her children, Junior and Princess Andre, on the red carpet.
While posing for photographers, Katie was notably sporting bold make-up, which featured silver eyeshadow paired with an extended black smoky wing, pronounced eyebrows, voluminous lashes, defined contour and an overlined, glossy nude-brown lip.
Following the attention her appearance attracted, Katie clarified that the intentionally make-up had been selected for a specific purpose.
Speaking on The Katie Price Show podcast, she disclosed that she had undergone surgery to have her breasts corrected the day prior to the ceremony, while also having some filler injected into her face.
She explained: “On my face… so as you get older, or lose weight, the side of your temples tend to cave in like they go hollow, like [the] under your eyes [can], so he put some filler in [that area]. And my face, I didn’t know would swell up like this and this cheek.”
She continued by saying she had the treatment carried out while under anaesthetic as the surgeon “did it to the bone”, which consequently led to bruising.
“So obviously Mitchell did my make-up, I said he can do whatever he wants. He did an amazing job covering all this up,” she added. “So good, but obviously when you have make-up like this, if you’re in the wrong light, it can look proper plastered on, which is sad because a lot of the lighting, they’ve used the wrong lighting as you would say to cane on my face in the papers.
“But do you know what? In the right light, and in life, I loved it and everyone commented about it and I loved how looked, it was actually how I wanted, mission accomplished.” Speaking on her Instagram page, following her latest procedure, she said: “I look like a hamster and it’s sore.”
Katie also disclosed that she had originally arranged for a glam squad to style her for the occasion, but claimed they weren’t aligned with the vision she had in mind for her appearance.
Instead, she took matters into her own hands, selecting a tailored white button-down shirt combined with a high-waisted black floral lace corset, sheer black tights and pointed stiletto ankle boots.
The former glamour model finished off her ensemble with a sleek, slicked-back hairstyle, ensuring maximum attention remained focused on her bold make-up.
She told her Instagram followers: “But the outfit I’ve chosen myself is still different, because I don’t like to follow what everyone else follows. But for the look that I want, I think the outfit is perfect.”
Katie’s red carpet moment arrived amid confirmation that she has separated from her fourth husband, Lee Andrews. She recently stated on her YouTube Channel: “I know a lot of you are listening for the Lee updates, and when I am ready I will of course share with you guys first.”
