Léa Seydoux body swap thriller The Unknown gets a trailer from Neon

Neon has shared a trailer for director Arthur Harari’s French body-swap thriller The Unknown which stars Léa Seydoux and Niels Schneider.

Loosely inspired by Harari’s graphic novel Le cas David Zimmerman, the film follows David, a lonely photographer who becomes fixated on a woman he encountered on a job. After spotting her at a party he follows her, only to awaken the next morning to the inexplicable discovery that he is somehow possessing her body.  Watch the trailer below…

David is a Parisian photographer. Something of a loner, he becomes curious about a young woman he encounters on an assignment. That night, at a drug-fueled party, David locks eyes with her across the room and follows her. By the morning, David wakes up in the young woman’s body. From writer-director Arthur Harari, Academy Award winning co-writer of Anatomy of a Fall, comes a mesmerizing and intriguing story of identity displacement — the story of a man who ceases being himself, only to become someone else… or possibly no one at all.

The Unknown is coming soon from Neon.
