The coffee house aims to open two more locations by March 2027
A Leicester coffee shop which runs five locations across the county has been nominated as one of the best cafes by our readers in our Leics Eat awards.
Jenno’s Coffee House in Welford Road was the third location to be opened since the business began in September 2016.
The family-run business first opened under the name Cosmo Coffee before rebranding to Jenno’s in 2018.
From there, the Jenno family opened a coffee house in Everards Meadows, across from Fosse Park, before welcoming customers inside the Welford Road branch.
They further expanded to Brocks Hill Country Park, in Oadby, before opening their most recent cafe in Carlton Park, near Narborough.
The coffee house hopes to open two more Leicestershire spots by March 2027.
A staff member at Jenno’s said: “Jenno’s Coffee House has been trading in Leicester since September 2016 so we are 10 years old this month.
“We currently have five coffee houses in Leicester with another due to open in New Lubbesthorpe in January 2027, and hopefully one more in February or March in Leicester.
“Cleanliness, friendliness and pride in everything we do – these are the operational values that we continue to aspire to.”
The cafe has been shortlisted alongside two others in our Leics Eat awards which strive to celebrate the very best in food and drink across the county.
The Jenno’s spokesperson added: “We would like to take the opportunity to thank our customers for their support and custom over the last 10 years and for also voting for us in the Leics Eat initiative.”
The power to crown the winner lies firmly in your hands – only one establishment can be crowned Leicestershire’s finest.
The shortlist for the best cafe category is:
- Jenno’s Coffee House in Leicester
- Muzzy’s Turquoise Cafe in Loughborough
- Cafe Portugal in Leicester
Each shortlisted venue will be profiled on Leicestershire Live over the coming weeks to help inform your decision.
