Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre has undergone a major refurbishment with brand new facilities

Looking for somewhere new to try now the weather is getting cooler and the nights are becoming darker?

Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre recently underwent a large refurbishment and has opened a brand new studio pool and café.

The 25 metre swimming pool has also been refurbished and there’s a new gym.

There’s also a health suite with a sauna, steam room, ice feature and salt room designed to aid relaxation after a workout or a busy day.

The complex is just down the M5 from Birmingham, only five to 10 minutes from junction five at Wychbold, traffic permitting.

A spokesman for Rivers Fitness, which runs the leisure centre said: “Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre offers newly refurbished facilities, including a transformed gym with EGYM technology, upgraded pools, a brand new studio pool, a wide range of exercise classes, a new café and reception, and some of the best swimming lessons in Worcestershire.”

There’s also racket sports, all weather pitches, treatment rooms, physiotherapy and kids clubs.

The leisure centre is open from 7am to 7pm at weekends and from 6am to 10pm on weekdays.

How to get to Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre

The address is Droitwich Leisure Centre, Briar Mill, Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR9 0RZ.

It takes around 40 minutes to get there from Birmingham city centre, depending on motorway traffic.

Alternatively, you can catch a train from Birmingham Snow Hill to Droitwich Station.

The leisure centre is less than a mile from the station.
