It now has a larger, open-plan bar and dining area
A Nottinghamshire pub has welcomed back customers with a stunning new look that blends timeless countryside charm with a fresh, rustic style.
From the moment visitors arrive, there are thoughtful touches at the Springfield Inn, in Old Epperstone Road, Lowdham, from a warm welcome to cosy corners.
It remains true to what makes a country pub special: hearty food, a welcoming atmosphere, and the perfect place to unwind in comfort.
Highlights of the refurbishment include a beautifully refreshed beer garden, elegant new interiors, and a stylish semi-private dining room that seats up to 40 guests.
As part of the new look, The Springfield Inn now has a larger, open-plan bar and dining area, which can seat up to 150 people and a duo of revamped beer gardens with new garden furniture and lighting.
The pub also has nine double B&B hotel rooms, which have also received a refresh as part of the pub’s makeover.
A revamped menu has a selection of popular dishes, including slow-cooked pork belly, classic margherita pizza, sweet potato and falafel burger and new signature skewers.
And for those craving country pub classics, they can look forward to dishes like traditional fish and chips, and the pub’s hearty home-baked pie of the day.
The venue also offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a hearty breakfast Monday to Sunday from 8am with dishes including the full cooked breakfast, veggie breakfast and buttermilk pancakes.
Meanwhile, for those looking for a new favourite lunch spot, the pub also offers a fixed-price lunch menu, starting from £21.95 for two courses and £24.95 for three, Monday to Friday from 12pm.
General manager Myles Greenwood said: “We’re so pleased to open our doors and welcome guests old and new to see what we’ve been working on at The Springfield Inn.”
“For us, we’re all about great food and excellent guest service, which is why we’re still the same warm, friendly country pub you know and love, just now with a fresh new feel.
“Whether you’re after somewhere to unwind with a drink or a lovely spot to enjoy a Sunday roast, the team and I can’t wait to share it with you.”
