The luxury brand is heading to the Trafford Centre for the first time – and will be among a host of big new names opening this Autumn. We have the list in full.

Another big fashion name for the Trafford Centre has been confirmed – amid a slew of new openings set to arrive at the shopping mall this Autumn.

British heritage brand Belstaff is the latest to confirm a spot inside the Trafford Centre. It marks its second location in Greater Manchester after its long-standing boutique on the city centre’s prestigious King Street.

The luxury label is known for its iconic wax jackets and leather bombers, first established in the 1920s in Stoke-on-Trent. Over the decades it has grown into a coveted lifestyle brand, with outerwear ranges for men and women as well as expanding into footwear and accessories too.

The new Trafford Centre store is currently under construction, with its distinctive logo now seen on the hoardings on Upper Peel Avenue as well as the message: “Hello Trafford Centre”. It states that it will be opening “Autumn/Winter 26”.

The official Belstaff website has also now listed the new Trafford Centre store with more details on the opening said to be “coming soon.” It will become the eight Belstaff store, joining boutiques also found in London, Glasgow, Sheffield, Leeds and New York.

It is the latest big name to announce a new store at the giant shopping mall in recent months. Other big names set to open in the weeks ahead includ a huge new Uniqlo fashion and lifestyle store, toy shop The Entertainer, gym brand Garage and a big new Disney concession inside Selfridges.

Here we take a look at what’s set to open and when in the weeks ahead, with many keen to get their stores open ready for the big festive run-in this year.

Shops confirmed to open in 2026

The Entertainer – September

A big new toy shop for the Trafford Centre is almost ready to open its doors – an official announcement has not yet been made, but the MEN understands it will be opening up by next Saturday, September 12 on Upper Regent Crescent – near to the big M&S.

New Disney store – September

Following hot on the heels of The Entertainer will be another big name for the family market – with Disney launching an expanded store inside Selfridges. It is described as a ‘dedicated destination’ for Disney fans in Manchester and the North West.

The store’s ‘immersive shopping experience’ will offer official Disney, Pixar, MARVEL and Star Wars products. Opening date is confirmed as Monday, September 14.

Garage – September

There has been much excitement about the Canadian fitnesswear brand opening its first Trafford Centre store.

Its opening has been slightly delayed since its original summer plans, but we believe it will open by the end of September on Lower Peel Avenue.

Dave’s Hot Chicken – Autumn

Another viral food brand is heading to the Trafford Centre – just a stone’s throw from the recently opened ShakeShack in the Great Hall space inside The Orient.

Huge queues are a constant outside its Manchester city centre site for its American fried chicken so we’re sure to see the same at Trafford.

Uniqlo – Autumn

Hit fashion brand Uniqlo is heading to the Trafford Centre for the first time, and shoppers could not be more delighted.

After we announced this news earlier this year, the most common comment from readers? “About time”.

And in 2027…

Menswear brand Suitsupply is the first big name confirmed to open in 2027. It is taking shape inside what was formerly the Dyson shop near Selfridges.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2000, Suitsupply has grown into one of the world’s ‘leading premium’ menswear brands, operating more than 150 stores globally. It is known for its contemporary tailoring and made-to-measure services.

The new store will showcase Suitsupply’s full range of tailoring and elevated casualwear, from suits, jackets, and outerwear to shoes and accessories, as well as the brand’s Custom-Made Program and on-demand alterations by in-house tailors.
