McDonald’s huge menu change with eight new items from Tuesday

It marks the return of last year’s popular overhaul

For the second year running, McDonald’s UK & Ireland has looked at the menus offered by branches around the world and is bringing items over here. Eight new items that can be found in branches around the world will be sold in the UK from Tuesday, September 22.

McDonald’s World Menu Heist menu is bringing some of McDonald’s international menu items to the UK and Ireland.

The menu upgrade includes the Big Rösti – from Germany. The sandwich is a beef patty with a crispy potato rosti, streaky bacon, a cheese slice, creamy baconnaise and cheese sauce in a toasted glazed sesame-topped bun.

There is also the Maple & Cheddar Chicken – from Canada. The burger is a chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating, topped with cheddar cheese, onions two ways, lettuce and tomato with mustard maple sauce and citrus mayo, in a toasted poppy and sesame seed bun.

From the UAE, the menu will include Mac & Cheese Triangles – following their appearance in last year’s World Menu Heist. And also in sides there will be Paprika McShaker Fries from The Netherlands, fries served with a smoky paprika seasoning sachet and shaker bag.

In sweets, there will be a S’mores McFlurry from Canada, and in dips, there is a Szechuan Sauce from China. The m,enu will also feature Guava x Sprite Zero – from India.

For breakfast, there will be a Chicken & Egg McMuffin from Australia and a Chicken & Bacon McMuffin from Australia.

World Menu Heist 2.0 launches in McDonald’s restaurants across the UK and Ireland from Tuesday, 22 September, with items available for a few weeks.
