The existing unit has been fully refurbished and is getting ready to open soon too.

It boasts a Beauty Playground where shoppers can explore different brands, pick up expert advice and enjoy beauty services.

There’s a Brow & Lash Bar and a Nurse’s Clinic where you can go for blood tests and travel vaccinations together with weight loss and family health advice.

A spokesman said: “We’re thrilled that Superdrug has chosen to significantly increase its current store at Merry Hill.

“Since opening in 1989, the brand has remained incredibly popular with our visitors.

“Clearly demonstrating its confidence in the centre, Superdrug will double its existing footprint to an impressive 16,000 square foot, making it one of the largest stores in the UK.

“The new-look shop will offer an even greater range of beauty and wellbeing brands and products, as well as treatments such as ear piercing, manicures, and eyebrow threading.”
