Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, 22, has reportedly secretly welcomed a second child with her husband Jake Bongiovi, 24, via adoption

Just a year after adopting her first child, 22-year-old Millie Bobby Brown has reportedly adopted a second child with husband Jake Bongiovi. The pair are thought to have hinted at having another child in a recent Instagram post, and now sources have suggested the rumours are true.
Millie and Jake, 24, adopted a baby girl in August 2025. The trio were seen in a video the Stranger Things actress posted to Instagram last week, taken during their trip to the Dolomites, where Millie held onto their daughter whilst Jake seemed to have a baby carrier strapped to his front. But with their backs to the camera, any new addition to the family couldn’t be seen.
A source has since told People that Millie and Jake have adopted a second child. The Mirror went to Millie’s reps for comment, but they did not respond.
Fans of the couple think another picture Millie posted could hint at a second baby. In her photo dump from the Dolomites holiday, Millie posted a picture of four eggs in a bowl, which fans have guessed could refer to how many people are now in the Brown-Bongiovi family.
After adopting her first child, Millie wrote on Instagram: “This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were three.”
This year, Millie posted more of her daughter, including as part of a post on the actress’ 22nd birthday. In the picture she posted, she and her daughter were in similar brown cardigans. The two sat directly on the sand of the beach, with the baby looking at the sea, and Millie gazing at her child.
In the caption, she wrote: “Grateful for my husband and daughter. for my family and friends. all of my animals. I am so blessed. Thank you for the birthday wishes. xoxo.”
Other than a few sparse posts, Millie and Jake have tried to keep their daughter out of the spotlight. “For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” the star told British Vogue in a 2025 interview.
“It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support.”
When she adopted her daughter, Millie received criticism from some of the public who felt she was too young to be a mother. But, Millie felt that her age didn’t matter, as she was the same age her own mother was when she was born.
She told the Smartless podcast: “My mum actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake. Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me. And my nan, my grandmother is, she was a huge part of my life.
“It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing. And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family.”
