A major festival is being held in the woodland park this weekend

The Moseley Folk & Arts Festival is set to launch this weekend, bringing a variety of live performances and street food vendors to the outdoor space.
This is the annual, family-friendly music and arts festival held every September in Birmingham.
Situated within Moseley Park and Pool, the festival’s line-up brings together traditional folk, acoustic, and roots music with indie rock, Americana, and experimental genres.

This year’s headliners include Kingfishr, the fast-rising Irish indie-folk trio, Super Furry Animals, the Welsh psych-rock musicians, and The Dead South, the Canadian acoustic ensemble.
They will headline across the three days, Friday to Sunday (September 4 to 6).

The event also features dedicated children’s zones, storytelling, craft workshops, and family-oriented performances throughout the weekend.
Additionally, the site hosts local street food vendors alongside pop-up bars serving craft beers, ciders, and cocktails.
The festival works closely with regional cultural organisations, including partnerships with the Birmingham Comedy Festival and local craft networks.
Profits and site fees from the event directly support the Moseley Pool and Park Trust, helping preserve the private parkland for the community year-round.
