M&S shoppers furious after item sells out – and won’t return to 2027
Marks & Spencer has left shoppers furious – after its food advent calendar sold OUT within just 72 hours and won’t be back until next year.
M&S have officially marked the start of the festive season by bringing back their annual Christmas advent calendar. Retailing for £100, the brand has also said there are at least £105 worth of goodies inside, with a bottle of Champagne Delacourt Brut to celebrate Christmas Day in style, a Cranberry and Orange Panettone, a bag of Pick ‘n’ Marks Belgian Milk Chocolate Malt Balls and Hazelnut Crème Truffles.
But after launching last week, M&S has risked the wrath of shoppers by confirming it has sold out and won’t return until 2027. Taking to X, M&S said: “I’m sorry – we won’t be getting any more of these in stock I’m afraid.

“It sold out faster than we imagined! Hopefully, we’ll do something similar next year, for all those who missed out.”
Customers can still view the product online, but if you try to add it to your basket it says it is “unavailable”.
An M&S spokesperson said: “The Advent Calendar was a HUGE hit with customers – proving a sell-out success!
“Although the advent calendar itself is no longer available, shoppers can still pick up the products in-store.”
But one customer sniped: “It’s literally September. Lack of planning or what @marksandspencer .”
