Nayanthara had two releases last weekend, and unfortunately, both films failed to make an impact at the box office.
One of them was Yash’s “Toxic,” in which Nayanthara played the crucial role of Yash’s sister, which was important to the story. However, the film was declared a disaster, and Nayanthara’s character and performance also failed to receive much appreciation.
On the other hand, Nayanthara played the female lead opposite Kavin in the Tamil film “Hi.” The film revolves around a story involving an age-gap relationship. However, the execution has failed to connect with audiences. The film struggled at the box office over the
Nayanthara’s recent setbacks are not limited to these two releases. Nayanthara did score a big success with Chiranjeevi’s “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” in Telugu, but overall, she has been going through a difficult phase due to more number of flops.
Currently, she is working on a Bollywood film alongside Salman Khan in the direction of Vamshi Paidipally.
