New ‘cheating scandal’ on The Block as Chantel and Wyatt clash with other contestants over doing ‘shady s**t’

There is a new cheating scandal afoot on The Block. 

It all came to a head during Tuesday’s episode of the renovation reality show when Chantel and Wyatt came under suspicion after they got too far ahead of the other teams. 

Spence speculated that House 2’s Cursio brothers have been sneaking in to do work outside of the agreed hours. 

‘If they’re tiling this morning, it’s because they came back late last night,’ he said. 

Tayla agreed, wondering aloud if the team was up to ‘illegal activities’. 

‘House 2 has been cheating this whole freaking thing, let’s be quite honest. They’re doing shady s**t over there,’ she said. 

Spence and Tayla went to confront the Cursio brothers over the accusations. 

‘So you got two coats on yesterday afternoon. How?’ Spence asked them.

‘Easy. Do you want some tips?’ Adrian Cursio replied, before the brothers presented a timestamped video showing that they had left the site on time. 

‘I do not believe them, do you?’ Tayla asked Spence. 

The cheating rumour then ran rife throughout the other teams – but Chantel was unbothered, insisting they were all just jealous. 

‘The only thing they could try to say about us was that they couldn’t understand why we were always so far in front,’ Chantel told Who Magazine. 

‘But we weren’t cheating. There are cameras everywhere. If we were cheating, they would have seen it.’ 

Better yet, she insisted she has proof that the build is all above board. 

‘We always make sure our trades take a photo when they start and when they finish, and their invoices are 100 per cent accurate,’ Chantel said. 

‘So we actually had all the photographic evidence to prove we weren’t cheating.’
