Fun activities and drinks await when it opens its doors
A new cafe is opening in Nottingham — and it’s a must for art lovers.
Oppstay Art Cafe is a popular independent DIY craft studio where you can make your own masterpiece. As well as being packed full of fun activities, drinks will be served.
It will be opening in Market Street, in the former premises of Hui Lau Shan, the famous global dessert chain from Hong Kong that specialises in fresh mango desserts. No opening date has been announced.
The first cafe opened in Manchester’s Chinatown last year, followed by a second in Lancaster in May.
Reviewers said: “This is such a fun thing to do,” and “super fun experience with lots of cute things to make/buy and a great drinks menu”.
Arty customers can paint canvases and make custom accessories, alongside a cafe serving matcha, iced drinks, coffee and tea.
The whisked-to-order matcha comes in flavours including peach and strawberry fizz, served along ice cream floats such as peach, mango and dark chocolate.
Items such as mirrors, combs, hairclips and jewellery boxes can be decorated with charms and taken away as keepsakes and takeaway DIY kits will also be on sale.
The cafe also caters for special occasions such as birthdays and hen dos.
