Oasis 2027 tour latest as teasers continue with Spain next as official announcement date looms

The Oasis tour 2027 clues continue, with the European dates expanding – as speculation mounts on when the official announcement is likely to now come

Oasis have released a fourth teaser video appearing to confirm yet more dates on what is set to be a huge 2027 live tour return across Europe. The band’s Liam and Noel Gallagher have electrified the Venice film festival over the weekend with the world premiere of the new documentary all about Oasis’ 2025 comeback tour.

But now, all clues point towards the band’s BIG live music return in 2027 – which is set to be formally announced within days. The MEN understands from music industry sources that the official Oasis announcement is set to land at the weekend – fresh from the full cinematic release of Don’t Look Back in Anger across the world on Friday September 11.

It will give details of how fans will be able to get tickets in what is set to be the mother of all Ticketmaster scrambles the following week.

The teaser videos first began on Thursday last week, with clear pointers towards the tour starting at Glasgow’s Celtic Park next summer. The second teaser nods to the widely-rumoured residency at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium – home to the Gallaghers’ beloved Manchester City – as well as suggesting the big Knebworth return.

A third teaser on Saturday afternoon was slightly more cryptic, although fans believe it points to upcoming gigs in Munich and possibly Amsterdam. On Sunday, at the same 4pm timing, a fourth teaser was dropped.

In the new video, clues would appear to point to Spain, and specifically Barcelona and Madrid. A guitarist is seen in a darkened bar, playing what appears to be the opening strains of Don’t Look Back in Anger. In the background is a poster for the famed Catalan surrealist artist and sculptor Joan Miro.

Spain had not been widely discussed in speculation about upcoming tour dates – until now. But a date on the poster in the corner of the video cites “26 August” which has sent fans into overdrive that the upcoming tour will head to Spain then.

An apparent tour schedule has previously been widely shared by Oasis fans on social media, said to be a “leaked list of tour dates” for the Oasis 2027 tour. It shows five gigs listed to start in May at Glasgow’s Celtic Park, before heading for the huge Manchester homecoming at the Etihad Stadium with 12 gigs across June.

Two gigs are then listed for Stade de France in Paris in July, two in Munich at the Allianz Arena, two for the San Siro in Milan, and then two at the Stadio Olimpica in Rome to round out July.

A run of five huge gigs at Dublin’s Slane Castle were suggested for the first two weeks August, but no other gigs had been mentioned that month. It leaves open in the schedule dates for Oasis to head to Spain, if the teaser is to be believed.

A big return to Knebworth is set to complete what would be a record-breaking run of six gigs in September 2027. Although, as yet, nothing has been officially confirmed by Oasis’ spokespeople.

Here’s everything that has been teased so far on the official Oasis account – with all four of the social media videos and the clues that fans have picked up on.

All teasers have been followed up by the message to sign up to the official Oasis.net website to get updates. It would suggest fans will need to be in the loop for imminent tour news.

Teaser 1 – Celtic Park, Glasgow

The first Oasis teaser video was shared on Thursday, September 3 and heavily suggests that Glasgow’s Celtic Park could play host to the first gigs on the new tour, in May 2027.

The video, set in a retro chippy, featured a host of numbers on the walls, which added up to the exact map co-ordinates of Celtic Park.

There were plenty of other Scottish clues too, including a DVD of Trainspotting and the video to Oasis classic Little By Little playing in the background which features Glaswegian actor Robert Carlyle.

Teaser 2 – Etihad Stadium, Manchester and Knebworth

The second teaser seemed to the boldest yet – with clear pointers to the Etihad Stadium, the home of Manchester City, in the video shared on Friday, September 4.

It shows two young lads playing football in a terraced street, not dissimilar to those found around Maine Road in Moss Side, where Man City’s football ground used to be. And where Oasis famously played back in 1996.

A blue moon symbol is etched onto a brick window arch – Blue Moon, of course, being the anthem of Man City. Meanwhile one of the children is seen scrawling the number 11 in Roman numerals onto the wall as a goals tally – but then the other child scores a goal at the end which would make it 12.

The MEN has been told by multiple music industry sources that up to 12 gigs are being planned at the Etihad Stadium in June 2027, with the possibility to add even more.

The tally on the wall could indicate the number of gigs, or fans are now speculating that an announcement about the gigs could be made on September 11 or September 12. There are also step marks chalked on the wall that also count up to 10.

Meanwhile, eagle-eyed fans have also spotted that shirts blowing on a washing line in the background are the same style as the Knebworth striped tops from the band’s iconic 1996 gigs. It is widely rumoured that the new Oasis tour will see a record-breaking return to Knebworth next summer.

Teaser 3 – Knebworth, Amsterdam, Munich

The third teaser, shared on Saturday, September 5, showed people in a car situated in a field with two men play-fighting in the background as Be Here Now plays in the background.

The video follows suit of the other two clips so far with some hard-to-decipher clues. Some fans believe the field links it to Knebworth, while others picked up the references to German radio playing indicating Munich gigs are on the cards. One fan said: “German radio that mentions Munich and what seems to be red and white shirts = Bayern München – Allianz Arena.” It was also highlighted that the person sat in the car was sat in the left seat, suggesting it was not in the UK.

The girl in the car is also rolling a joint, that fans say could point to Amsterdam which has looser restrictions on smoking the drug.

Teaser 4 – Barcelona and Madrid

The fourth teaser, shared on Sunday September 4, shows a darkly lit bar, and a man quietly strumming away on a Spanish guitar sat on a stool. Listen closely and the tune he’s picking out is the start of Oasis anthem Don’t Look Back in Anger.

In the background on a wall is an exhibition poster for the acclaimed Catalan artist Joan Miro. It has led fans to straight away conclude that gigs in Barcelona are being teased on the new Oasis tour.

But could there be more Spanish gigs too? For zoom in to the man’s t-shirt and he has a symbol of a tree on his neckline. The strawberry tree is famously the symbol for Madrid, with the bear and strawberry tree statue iconic in the Spanish city.

Fans who have zoomed in on the poster say they can see the dates June 16 – August 26 leading to feverish speculation about what those dates might actually mean.

June is widely believed to be the month that Oasis will stage their epic 12-night residency at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.

But could August 16 – 26 be the dates the band head to Spain for Barcelona and Madrid shows?
