Four additional concert dates have been announced by Oasis for their live tour next year.
Following high demand for Oasis Live 27 tickets among fans, extra shows have been scheduled at Knebworth on 25 and 26 September, Rome’s Olympic Stadium on 26 July, and Munich’s Allianz Arena on 6 July.
In addition to these, the band will now perform in Paris on 20 and 23 July because of railway engineering works taking place near the Stade de France venue on 24 July.
With the inclusion of these dates, Oasis Live 27 will see the band play 42 shows across Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the US, and Ireland. Organisers have stated that there will be no further dates added to the tour.
The registration process for fans wanting to purchase tickets is now closed. Successful applicants who signed up will be sent a unique, non-transferable code allowing access to a dedicated purchasing window.
In the UK, ticket sales are scheduled to take place across 25, 26, and 27 September, with three distinct selling windows running each day. Fans will be informed directly regarding which window they can access, as well as the specific time. This registration system remains the only public route to buy tickets, with no general sale or other public presales taking place.
Promoters for Oasis Live 27 last week announced a new approach to live music at Knebworth. Additional transport and accommodation provisions will be put in place at the Hertfordshire venue, including rail and coach options, as well as a purpose-built campsite village. Fans are advised not to drive to Knebworth and to instead consider the transport options provided. The band previously played two concerts at the venue in August 1996, performing to an audience of more than 100,000 each night.
Despite the latest tour announcement, Noel Gallagher has ruled out making any new music.
He told Talksport: “There won’t be any new music, no.”
When asked again about new music, he replied “nah”, and then answered “I don’t know” when questioned on whether the band would continue beyond the tour next summer.
When asked when the band decided to do another tour, Gallagher added: “It was after about the second Wembley show.
“Nobody really knew what was going to happen at the (time), well, you can see it on the documentary, but nobody really knew how it was going to go.
“We did Cardiff and Manchester, and then by the time we got to Wembley somebody said, ‘well, you know’, and it was decided we were going to do it, and it was all set in motion then.”
The band originally reunited last year for their Live 25 tour, which sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale and was estimated by Forbes to have generated more than £293 million in revenue.
The reunion came after a long-standing feud between Noel and brother Liam when the band split in 2009 – reportedly prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in France.
