Please Leave Me Alone, Says Bandla Ganesh!

A cryptic post by film producer and actor Bandla Ganesh has taken several netizens by surprise, making them wonder what is bothering him and why he has become so emotional.

In a post on Monday, Bandla Ganesh made an emotional appeal, saying, “For God’s sake, please don’t use my name just for time-pass and do injustice to me and my life. I have no desire for any post or position.”

He went on to add, “I humbly request you, with folded hands, not to raise unnecessary matters, drag my name into them and put me in trouble. Please understand my position. Don’t take my name and create problems for me. Please leave me alone.”

Bandla Ganesh did not specify whom he was addressing or what prompted the appeal, leaving the context of the post unclear.

However, it appears that he may have been embarrassed by reports circulating on social media suggesting that he could be considered for the post of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Trust Board chairman or another important nominated position in the Andhra Pradesh government.

His proximity to the ruling alliance comprising the TDP, Jana Sena and BJP has added fuel to such speculation. Ganesh has repeatedly spoken publicly about his admiration for Jana Sena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

Recently, when former minister Perni Nani’s son Perni Kittu reportedly alleged that Ganesh praised Pawan Kalyan only for business interests, the actor-producer hit back strongly.

“Very soon, I will make you understand the stature of Pawan Kalyan and what his position is, brother,” Ganesh had posted in response.

His public association with TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has also been cited as a reason for speculation over a possible government appointment.

Recently, Naidu and his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari attended the wedding of Ganesh’s daughter. A few days ago, Ganesh visited Naravaripalle in Chittoor district and paid floral tributes at the memorials of Chandrababu Naidu’s parents.

Ganesh also posted a message praising Naidu, saying, “What a great son you gave birth to,” while referring to Naidu’s parents.

Ganesh’s political association with Naidu dates back several years. During Naidu’s imprisonment in 2023, Ganesh publicly prayed for his release and return as chief minister.

As part of a vow he had made, Ganesh reportedly undertook a barefoot pilgrimage from Shadnagar to Tirumala and later had darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

Given his repeated expressions of support for both Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, speculation has intensified that Ganesh could eventually be given a position in the NDA government.

His latest emotional appeal, however, suggests that he does not want his name to be dragged into such speculation.
