Popular market set to return to Liverpool this weekend

The event is also offering free entry to visitors

A popular market is set to make a return to Liverpool this weekend, featuring up to 60 local traders. The Autumn Artisan market is one of a few markets St George’s Hall plateau has welcomed this year after its outdoor night market in August.

The artisan markets are held four times a year inside the grand main hall, hosting a range of independent businesses and is easily accessible by train, bus or car.

The October Autumn market will bring together a range of food, jewellery, arts and crafts, photography and more. Those going to the market will also be able to enjoy a live choir performances in the Great Hall at intervals, starting from midday along with hot food and refreshments.

The event will be held on Sunday October 4, from 10am to 4.30pm with the event also offering free entry to visitors.

Another event coming to the city is Liverpool ONE’s Christmas showcase rolling out from November 6. The event will see the return of the Christmas Toy Parade on November 14.

The parade will return in collaboration with Walk The Plank. Festive characters, including dancing toys and Santa, will parade across the complex against a musical soundtrack at intervals throughout the day.

From Friday, November 6, Liverpool ONE will unveil stunning new decorations set to bring a little extra sparkle to their existing Christmas lights scheme.

The decorations include an impressive new 30-metre Christmas tree at Paradise Place and a twinkling light canopy at Peter’s Lane and Keys Court, a dazzling light curtain at the Church Street and Keys Court entrance and a light drape and super-sized suspended bauble at Peter’s Square.
