As per the original plan, “Fauji” was supposed to be the 24th film in Prabhas’s career, followed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Spirit” as his milestone 25th film. That was the initial release strategy.
However, “Fauji” has been facing delays in its production, and the film was recently moved out of its December 2026 release slot. With the shooting schedule stretching further, the film’s release has now been pushed indefinitely.
Reliable sources informed Telugucinema.com that Prabhas has now decided to change the order of his upcoming releases. “Spirit” is likely to arrive first, with “Fauji” following later.
he shooting of “Spirit” is progressing as planned, and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is reportedly targeting a release in March or April 2027, depending on the completion of the remaining shoot.
On the other hand, “Fauji” still has more than 60 days of shooting left. Considering the delay, Prabhas has reportedly decided to push the Hanu Raghavapudi directorial to the second half of 2027.
If the current plans hold, “Spirit” will therefore become Prabhas’s next theatrical release, ahead of “Fauji.”
“Fauji” is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. “Spirit” is a cop drama with action elements, featuring Prabhas as an ex-cop who takes on the drug mafia. Bhadrakali Pictures and T-Series are producing the film.
