“Ranabaali” brings together Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, who recently got married. Although the couple has previously acted together in “Geetha Govindam” and “Dear Comrade”, this marks their first film to release after their marriage.
The couple has now started the promotional campaign for “Ranabaali”. Vijay and Rashmika have begun giving interviews to journalists and various media channels as part of the film’s promotions.
“Ranabaali” is a period drama set during the British era against the backdrop of the Great Famine of 1876-78, a devastating period that severely affected the Rayalaseema region. Vijay Deverakonda plays the titular character, while Rashmika Mandanna portrays his wife, Jayamma.
Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo makes his Telugu debut with the film, playing British colonial official Sir Theodore Hector.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, “Ranabaali” is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on October 16, 2026.
